Patrick and Myra have everything they ever wanted, a cottage on the coast of Maine with their three little girls, Frances, Rose and Birdie. Myra milks their only milk cow, Bessie, every morning while Patrick tends to the rest of their livestock on their little homestead. The three little girls look forward to collecting eggs from their chicken coop chicken coop everyday while Myra busies herself with spinning the wool from their sheep. When the little girls are not helping on their homestead, they’re running wild, looking for interesting sticks and rocks along the chore, down the hill from their cottage. It’s a good life.
